Left 4 Dead

Left 4 Dead is a first person shooter for the PC/Xbox...about motherfucking zombies.



You play as a team of four survivors (on your own, or with four friends, which is DEFINITELY the way to do it) and fight your way to safety. The zombies are fast and merciless and capable of some crazy mutant feats, but the AI is where this game gets really crazy: rather than have fixed re-spawn points for enemies and locations for items, the game figures out your playing style and the zombies and items are arranged accordingly, making no two playthroughs the same.

Grand Theft...Zombies?

The Fighting Hellfish have released this kick-ass mod for Grand Theft Auto 4 called Long Night. It puts your Russian gangster up against an army of the undead. See it in action:



The mod can be found here. As I myself lack the means to play it, I can't comment on its quality, but if anyone's got a review of it they want to kick our way...we'd love to hear it.

Zombies Ate My Neighbors!

Zombies ate my neighbors was a pretty sweet game. Released by LucasArts in '93, the objective was to run around Suburbia and shoot all manner of crazy shit, including lots and lots of zombies, while you collected stuff and rescued regular humans.

De-Animator

This game's pretty fun...click on the zombies to shoot them (get em in the head!) Shoot them as they rise from the ground for a one hit kill. When you use up six shots click again to reload! You find a shotgun around stage 2 or 3, hit shift to switch. It's a one hit kill but it takes longer to reload.

How far can you make it? I got to stage 11.
