Night of the Creeps
Night of the Creeps, brought to you in the year 1986 by the guy who brought us all The Monster Squad, Mr. Fred Dekker. I don't know how this one slipped under my radar for so long, but goddamn it is great.
The plot is very similar to that of Slither, which I also love, but Night of the Creeps did it first, so kudos to the notion of outer space slugs turning us all into the walking dead. Killer special effects, tons of gore, surprisingly funny writing, and one of the most weird-ass openings to any movie I have seen yet. Only in the 80's. Do yourself a favor: Watch it. Now.
Part One
Part Two
Part Three
Part Four
Part Five
Part Six
Part Seven
Part Eight
Part Nine
Part Ten
And yes...Part Eleven
Keepin' it killer,
RM

Left 4 Dead
Left 4 Dead is a first person shooter for the PC/Xbox...about motherfucking zombies.
You play as a team of four survivors (on your own, or with four friends, which is DEFINITELY the way to do it) and fight your way to safety. The zombies are fast and merciless and capable of some crazy mutant feats, but the AI is where this game gets really crazy: rather than have fixed re-spawn points for enemies and locations for items, the game figures out your playing style and the zombies and items are arranged accordingly, making no two playthroughs the same.

Excuse me while I crap all over my living room floor....
Because the premise of this upcoming video game is brilliant.
The video game is called "Prototype". A zombie killing superhero. What? What is that sound?....Oh, that's the sound of my prayers being answered. Nice.

Romero being Romero
Well, Heres an untitled trailer from Romeros latest B-movie. And at first impression it looks like.....errr.....Romeros latest B-movie. I guess We can all argue that his recent movies have its own sense of charm. It is hard to be critical of a legend such as Romero, but I must say his legend lives in 1968, and 1968 only. Everything else is just comedy to me, and thats great....if it is meant to be funny.... is it?
If you are a Romero fan, I apologize. But although I will definately see this movie, I cant say im really excited about it.
